Anti-wrinkle injections are commonly used for the treatment of fine lines across the face to create a more youthful appearance. The product will cause a localised temporary muscle relaxation to occur, lasting approximately 2-4 months, decreasing the production of fine lines.

Immediately after your anti-wrinkle treatment, you may experience some redness and mild swelling at the injection sites. These should subside within 20 minutes of your appointment and can be covered with makeup afterward.

How many units will I need?
Unfortunately it is very difficult to quote how many units someone will need without seeing them in person. The number of units depends on the area of treatment and how strong the muscle is in that area. Everyone has a unique anatomy and muscle strength so the best thing to do is pop in for a Complimentary Consultation with one of our cosmetic nurses.
Is anti-wrinkle safe for me?
Anti-wrinkle injections are one of the most researched drugs in the world. There have been no reported long-term adverse effects from using these products. Here at Smirk Injectables, patients are taken cared of by ahighly experienced team consisting of cosmetic registered nurses and dental practitioners who have undergone extensive training in cosmetic treatments and injectables.
When will I see results?
It is normal to start to see or feel your results at approximately day 5. From here, the injections will continue to relax the muscle until day 14 when the muscle will be at its most relaxed. We do recommend a review at this time.
Does it hurt?
Pain is minimal when receiving these injections and the most you will feel is a small pinch. It is still a needle and therefore we cannot guarantee it will be completely pain-free but the treatment shouldn’t last more than 5-10 minutes.
